A new option for electronic payment processing with Ontario Systems accounts receivable software will be offered through a partnership announced today by Ontario Systems and Y2Payment Systems. The new payment service, called the Conduit, will be fully integrated with the Ontario Systems FACS®, Artiva® and Collect SAVVY™ products.

The Conduit allows credit, debit card and ACH/EFT payments to be processed seamlessly. It simply translates the user’s billing system output file data to the format of the gateway provider, executes all the transactions and then converts the finished file back to the format required by the user’s system—all in a matter of seconds.

In addition, the Conduit offers a transparent, fully disclosed merchant account pricing model which eliminates credit card surcharges. Typical merchant account providers charge bundled rates for qualified transactions; however, a large percentage of that merchant’s business often gets hit with tiered-rate surcharges, which siphon profits from the merchant.
