CB Merchant Services has announced $125,000 in grant funding and scholarships will be awarded to 34 local community benefit organizations.

“We’re proud to continue a long history of investing in and strengthening the communities we serve by supporting organizations that help make our community a better place to live,” said CB Merchant Services President, Linda Guinn. “In addition to the grants, a $500 scholarship has been awarded to each of the San Joaquin County area high schools for award to a deserving student in support of higher education.”

Scholarship awards are administered by the San Joaquin County Office of Education.

CB Merchant Services, a financial services company that engages in accounts receivable management and debt collection, has distributed over $2,000,000 in grant funding and scholarships over the years. This year special consideration was given to support safety net services due to ongoing economic challenges in the community. The grants will be distributed by the Community Foundation of San Joaquin.
